AndHezekiahsaid untoIsaiah, What shall be thesign that theLORD willheal me, and that I shall goup into thehouse of theLORD thethirdday?
AndIsaiahsaid, Thissign shalt thou have of theLORD, that theLORD willdo thething that he hathspoken: shall theshadow goforwardtendegrees, or gobacktendegrees?
AndHezekiahanswered, It is a lightthing for theshadow to godowntendegrees: nay, but let theshadowreturnbackwardtendegrees.
AndIsaiah theprophetcried unto theLORD: and hebrought theshadowtendegreesbackward,by which it had gonedown in thedial ofAhaz.
At thattimeBerodachbaladan, theson ofBaladan, king ofBabylon, sentletters and apresent untoHezekiah: for he hadheard thatHezekiah had beensick.

ThencameIsaiah theprophet untokingHezekiah, andsaid unto him, Whatsaid thesemen? and fromwhencecame they unto thee? AndHezekiahsaid, They arecome from afarcountry, even fromBabylon.
And hesaid, What have theyseen in thinehouse? AndHezekiahanswered, All the things that are in minehouse have theyseen: there isnothing among mytreasures that I have notshewed them.
AndIsaiahsaid untoHezekiah,Hear theword of theLORD.
Behold, thedayscome, that all that is in thinehouse, and that which thyfathers have laid up instore unto thisday, shall becarried intoBabylon:nothing shall beleft, saith theLORD.
