And this is theblessing, wherewithMoses theman ofGodblessed thechildren ofIsraelbefore his death.
And hesaid, TheLORDcame fromSinai, and roseup fromSeir unto them; he shinedforth frommountParan, and hecame with tenthousands ofsaints: from his righthand went afiery law for them.
Yea, heloved thepeople; all hissaints are in thyhand: and they satdown at thyfeet; every one shallreceive of thy words.
Mosescommanded us alaw, even theinheritance of thecongregation of Jacob.
And he wasking inJeshurun, when theheads of thepeople and thetribes ofIsrael weregathered together.
LetReubenlive, and notdie; and let not hismen be few.
And this is the blessing ofJudah: and hesaid,Hear,LORD, thevoice ofJudah, andbring him unto hispeople: let hishands besufficient for him; and be thou anhelp to him from his enemies.
And ofLevi hesaid, Let thyThummim and thyUrim be with thyholyone, whom thou didstprove atMassah, and with whom thou didststrive at thewaters of Meribah;
Whosaid unto hisfather and to hismother, I have notseen him; neither did heacknowledge hisbrethren, norknew his ownchildren: for they haveobserved thyword, andkept thy covenant.
They shallteachJacob thyjudgments, andIsrael thylaw: they shallputincensebefore thee, and whole burntsacrifice upon thine altar.
Bless,LORD, hissubstance, andaccept thework of hishands:smite through theloins of them thatrise against him, and of them thathate him, that theyrisenot again.
And ofBenjamin hesaid, Thebeloved of theLORD shalldwell insafety by him; and the LORD shallcover him all theday long, and he shalldwell between his shoulders.
And ofJoseph hesaid,Blessed of theLORD be hisland, for the preciousthings ofheaven, for thedew, and for thedeep that coucheth beneath,
And for thepreciousfruits brought forth by thesun, and for the preciousthings putforth by the moon,
And for the chiefthings of theancientmountains, and for the preciousthings of thelasting hills,
And for the preciousthings of theearth andfulness thereof, and for the goodwill of him thatdwelt in thebush: let the blessingcome upon thehead ofJoseph, and upon the top of thehead of him that wasseparated from his brethren.
Hisglory is like thefirstling of hisbullock, and hishorns are like thehorns ofunicorns: with them he shallpush thepeopletogether to theends of theearth: and they are the tenthousands ofEphraim, and they are thethousands of Manasseh.
And ofZebulun hesaid,Rejoice,Zebulun, in thy goingout; and,Issachar, in thy tents.
They shallcall thepeople unto themountain; there they shalloffersacrifices ofrighteousness: for they shallsuck of theabundance of theseas, and oftreasureshid in the sand.
And ofGad hesaid,Blessed be he thatenlargethGad: hedwelleth as alion, andteareth thearmwith the crown of the head.
And heprovided the firstpart for himself, because there, in aportion of thelawgiver, was heseated; and hecame with theheads of thepeople, heexecuted thejustice of theLORD, and hisjudgments with Israel.
And ofDan hesaid,Dan is alion'swhelp: he shallleap from Bashan.
And ofNaphtali hesaid, ONaphtali, satisfied withfavour, andfull with theblessing of theLORD:possess thou thewest and the south.
And ofAsher hesaid, LetAsher beblessed withchildren; let him beacceptable to hisbrethren, and let himdip hisfoot in oil.
Thyshoes shall beiron andbrass; and as thydays, so shall thy strength be.
There is none like unto theGod ofJeshurun, whorideth upon theheaven in thyhelp, and in hisexcellency on the sky.
TheeternalGod is thyrefuge, and underneath are theeverlastingarms: and he shall thrustout theenemy frombefore thee; and shallsay, Destroy them.
Israel then shalldwell insafetyalone: thefountain ofJacob shall be upon aland ofcorn andwine; also hisheavens shall dropdown dew.
Happy art thou, OIsrael: who is like unto thee, Opeoplesaved by theLORD, theshield of thyhelp, and who is thesword of thyexcellency! and thineenemies shall be foundliars unto thee; and thou shalttread upon their high places.
