ThenJosephcould notrefrain himself before all them thatstood by him; and hecried,Cause everyman to goout from me. And therestood noman with him, whileJoseph made himselfknown unto his brethren.
2 And heweptaloud: and theEgyptians and thehouse ofPharaohheard.
3 AndJosephsaid unto hisbrethren, I amJoseph; doth myfather yetlive? And hisbrethrencould notanswer him; for they weretroubled at his presence.
4 AndJosephsaid unto hisbrethren, Comenear to me, I pray you. And they camenear. And hesaid, I amJoseph yourbrother, whom yesold into Egypt.
5 Now therefore be notgrieved, norangry withyourselves, that yesold me hither: forGod didsend me beforeyou to preserve life.
6 For these twoyears hath thefamine beenin theland: and yet there arefiveyears, in the which there shallneither beearing nor harvest.
7 AndGodsent me beforeyou topreserve you aposterity in theearth, and to save yourlives by agreat deliverance.
8 So now it was not you thatsent me hither, butGod: and he hathmade me afather toPharaoh, andlord of all hishouse, and aruler throughout all theland of Egypt.
9Haste ye, and goup to myfather, andsay unto him, Thussaith thysonJoseph,God hathmade melord of allEgypt: comedown unto me, tarry not:
10 And thou shaltdwell in theland ofGoshen, and thou shalt benear unto me, thou, and thychildren, and thychildren'schildren, and thyflocks, and thy herds, and all that thou hast:
11 And there will Inourish thee; for yet there arefiveyears offamine; lest thou, and thyhousehold, and all that thou hast, come to poverty.
12 And, behold, youreyessee, and theeyes of mybrotherBenjamin, that it is mymouth that speaketh unto you.
13 And ye shalltell myfather of all myglory inEgypt, and of all that ye haveseen; and ye shallhaste and bringdown my father hither.
14 And hefell upon hisbrotherBenjamin'sneck, andwept; andBenjaminwept upon his neck.
15 Moreover hekissed all hisbrethren, andwept upon them: andafter that hisbrethren talked with him.
16 And thefame thereof washeard inPharaoh'shouse,saying,Joseph'sbrethren arecome: and itpleasedPharaohwell,and his servants.
17 AndPharaohsaid untoJoseph,Say unto thybrethren, Thisdo ye;lade yourbeasts, andgo,get you unto theland of Canaan;
18 Andtake yourfather and yourhouseholds, andcome unto me: and I willgive you thegood of theland ofEgypt, and ye shalleat thefat of the land.
19 Now thou artcommanded, thisdo ye;take youwagons out of theland ofEgypt for your littleones, and for yourwives, andbring yourfather, and come.
20Alsoregard not yourstuff; for thegood of all theland of Egypt is yours.
21 And thechildren ofIsraeldid so: andJosephgave themwagons, according to thecommandment ofPharaoh, andgave themprovision for the way.
22 To all of them hegave eachmanchanges ofraiment; but toBenjamin hegavethreehundred pieces ofsilver, andfivechanges of raiment.
23 And to hisfather hesent afterthis manner;tenassesladen with the goodthings ofEgypt, andten sheassesladen withcorn andbread andmeat for hisfather by the way.
24 So hesent hisbrethrenaway, and theydeparted: and hesaid unto them, See that ye fall notout by the way.
25 And they wentup out ofEgypt, andcame into theland ofCanaan untoJacob their father,
26 Andtold him,saying,Joseph is yetalive, and he isgovernor over all theland ofEgypt. And Jacob'sheartfainted, for he believed them not.
27 And theytold him all thewords ofJoseph, which he hadsaid unto them: and when hesaw thewagons whichJoseph hadsent tocarry him, thespirit ofJacob theirfather revived:
28 AndIsraelsaid, It isenough;Joseph myson is yetalive: I willgo and seehim before I die.
