And it came to pass, whenmenbegan tomultiplyon theface of theearth, anddaughters were born unto them,
That thesons ofGodsaw thedaughters ofmen thatthey werefair; and theytook themwives of all which they chose.
And theLORDsaid, Myspirit shall notalwaysstrive withman, for that healso isflesh: yet hisdays shall be anhundred andtwenty years.
There weregiants in theearth in thosedays; and alsoafterthat, when thesons ofGod camein unto thedaughters ofmen, and theybare children to them, thesame became mightymen which were ofold, men of renown.
AndGODsaw that thewickedness ofman wasgreat in theearth, and that everyimagination of thethoughts of hisheart wasonlyevil continually.
And itrepented theLORD that he hadmademan on theearth, and itgrieved himat his heart.
And theLORDsaid, I willdestroyman whom I havecreated from theface of theearth; bothman, andbeast, and the creepingthing, and thefowls of theair; for itrepenteth me that I have made them.
ButNoahfoundgrace in theeyes of the LORD.
These are thegenerations ofNoah:Noah was ajustman andperfect in hisgenerations, andNoahwalked with God.
AndNoahbegatthreesons,Shem,Ham, and Japheth.
Theearth also wascorruptbeforeGod, and theearth wasfilled with violence.
AndGodlooked upon theearth, and, behold, it wascorrupt; for allflesh hadcorrupted hisway upon the earth.
AndGodsaid untoNoah, Theend of allflesh iscome beforeme; for theearth is filledwithviolence throughthem; and, behold, I willdestroy themwith the earth.
Make thee anark ofgopherwood;rooms shalt thoumakein theark, and shaltpitch itwithin andwithout with pitch.
And this is the fashion which thou shaltmake it of: Thelength of theark shall bethreehundredcubits, thebreadth of itfiftycubits, and theheight of itthirty cubits.
Awindow shalt thoumake to theark, and in acubit shalt thoufinish itabove; and thedoor of theark shalt thouset in the sidethereof; withlower, second, andthird stories shalt thou make it.
And,behold,I, even I, dobring aflood ofwaters upon theearth, todestroy allflesh, wherein is thebreath oflife, fromunderheaven; and everything that is in theearth shall die.
But with thee will Iestablish mycovenant; and thou shaltcomeinto theark, thou, and thysons, and thywife, and thysons' wives with thee.
And of every livingthing of allflesh, two of every sort shalt thoubring into theark, to keep themalive with thee; they shall bemale and female.
Offowls after theirkind, and ofcattle after theirkind, of every creepingthing of theearth after hiskind, two of every sort shallcome unto thee, to keep them alive.
Andtake thou unto thee of allfood that iseaten, and thou shaltgather it to thee; and it shall be for food for thee, and for them.
ThusdidNoah; according to all thatGodcommanded him, so did he.
