Woe to thelandshadowing withwings, which isbeyond therivers of Ethiopia:
2 Thatsendethambassadors by thesea, even invessels ofbulrushesupon thewaters, saying,Go, yeswiftmessengers, to anationscattered andpeeled, to apeopleterrible from their beginninghitherto; anation metedout and troddendown, whoseland therivers have spoiled!
3 All yeinhabitants of theworld, anddwellers on theearth,see ye, when he liftethup anensign on themountains; and when hebloweth atrumpet, hear ye.
4 Forso theLORDsaid unto me, I will take myrest, and I willconsider in my dwellingplace like aclearheat uponherbs, and like acloud ofdew in theheat of harvest.
5 Forafore theharvest, when thebud isperfect, and the sourgrape isripening in theflower, he shall both cutoff thesprigs with pruninghooks, and takeaway and cutdown the branches.
6 They shall belefttogether unto thefowls of themountains, and to thebeasts of theearth: and thefowls shallsummer upon them, and all thebeasts of theearth shall winter upon them.
7 In thattime shall thepresent bebrought unto theLORD ofhosts of apeoplescattered andpeeled, and from apeopleterrible from their beginninghitherto; anation metedout and trodden underfoot, whoseland therivers havespoiled, to theplace of thename of theLORD ofhosts, themount Zion.
