Moreover they thatwork infineflax, and they thatweavenetworks, shall be confounded.
And they shall bebroken in thepurposes thereof, all thatmakesluices andponds for fish.
Surely theprinces ofZoan arefools, thecounsel of thewisecounsellors ofPharaoh is becomebrutish: howsay ye untoPharaoh, I am theson of thewise, theson ofancient kings?
Where are they?where are thywise men? and let themtell thee now, and let themknow what theLORD ofhosts hathpurposed upon Egypt.
Theprinces ofZoan are becomefools, theprinces ofNoph aredeceived; they have alsoseducedEgypt, even they that are thestay of the tribes thereof.
TheLORD hathmingled aperversespirit in themidst thereof: and they have causedEgypt toerr in everywork thereof, as adrunken manstaggereth in his vomit.
Neither shall there be anywork forEgypt, which thehead ortail, branch orrush, may do.
In thatday shallEgypt be like untowomen: and it shall beafraid andfearbecause of theshaking of thehand of theLORD ofhosts, which he shaketh over it.
And theland ofJudah shall be aterror untoEgypt, every one that makethmention thereof shall beafraid in himself, because of thecounsel of theLORD ofhosts, which he hath determined against it.
In thatday shallfivecities in theland ofEgyptspeak thelanguage ofCanaan, andswear to theLORD ofhosts;one shall becalled, Thecity of destruction.
In thatday shall there be analtar to theLORD in themidst of theland ofEgypt, and apillarat theborder thereof to the LORD.
And it shall be for asign and for awitness unto theLORD ofhosts in theland ofEgypt: for they shallcry unto theLORDbecause of theoppressors, and he shallsend them asaviour, and a greatone, and he shall deliver them.
And theLORD shall beknown toEgypt, and theEgyptians shallknow theLORD in thatday, and shalldosacrifice andoblation; yea, they shallvow avow unto theLORD, and perform it.
