KJV · Textus Receptus
Theword thatIsaiah theson ofAmozsaw concerningJudah and Jerusalem.
And it shall come to pass in thelastdays, that themountain of theLORD'Shouse shall beestablished in thetop of themountains, and shall beexalted above thehills; and allnations shall flow unto it.
Andmanypeople shallgo andsay,Come ye, and let us goup to themountain of theLORD, to thehouse of theGod ofJacob; and he willteach us of hisways, and we willwalk in hispaths: for out ofZion shall goforth thelaw, and theword of theLORD from Jerusalem.
And he shalljudge among thenations, and shallrebukemanypeople: and they shallbeat theirswords intoplowshares, and theirspears intopruninghooks:nation shall not liftupsword againstnation, neither shall theylearn war any more.
Ohouse ofJacob, come ye, and let uswalk in thelight of the LORD.
Therefore thou hastforsaken thypeople thehouse ofJacob, because they bereplenished from theeast, and aresoothsayers like thePhilistines, and theyplease themselves in thechildren of strangers.
Theirland also isfull ofsilver andgold, neither is there anyend of theirtreasures; theirland is alsofull ofhorses, neither is there anyend of their chariots:
Theirland also isfull ofidols; theyworship thework of their ownhands, that which their ownfingers have made:
And the meanman bowethdown, and the greatmanhumbleth himself: therefore forgive them not.
Enter into therock, andhide thee in thedust, forfear of theLORD, and for theglory of his majesty.
Theloftylooks ofman shall behumbled, and thehaughtiness ofmen shall be boweddown, and theLORD alone shall beexalted in that day.
For theday of theLORD ofhosts shall be upon every one that isproud andlofty, and upon every one that is liftedup; and he shall be brought low:
And upon all thecedars ofLebanon, that arehigh and liftedup, and upon all theoaks of Bashan,
And upon all thehighmountains, and upon all thehills that are lifted up,
And upon everyhightower, and upon everyfenced wall,
And upon all theships ofTarshish, and upon allpleasant pictures.
And theloftiness ofman shall be boweddown, and thehaughtiness ofmen shall be madelow: and theLORD alone shall beexalted in that day.
And theidols he shallutterly abolish.
And they shallgo into theholes of therocks, and into thecaves of theearth, forfear of theLORD, and for theglory of hismajesty, when heariseth to shaketerribly the earth.
In thatday aman shallcast hisidols ofsilver, and hisidols ofgold, which they made each one forhimself toworship, to themoles and to the bats;
Togo into theclefts of therocks, and into thetops of the raggedrocks, forfear of theLORD, and for theglory of hismajesty, when heariseth to shaketerribly the earth.
Cease ye fromman, whosebreath is in hisnostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?
