Behold, aking shallreign inrighteousness, andprinces shallrule in judgment.
And aman shall be as an hidingplace from thewind, and acovert from thetempest; asrivers ofwater in a dryplace, as theshadow of agreatrock in aweary land.
And theeyes of them thatsee shall not bedim, and theears of them thathear shall hearken.
Theheart also of therash shallunderstandknowledge, and thetongue of thestammerers shall beready tospeak plainly.
The vileperson shall be no morecalledliberal, nor thechurlsaid to be bountiful.
For the vileperson willspeakvillany, and hisheart willworkiniquity, topractisehypocrisy, and touttererror against theLORD, to makeempty thesoul of thehungry, and he will cause thedrink of thethirsty to fail.
Theinstruments also of thechurl areevil: hedeviseth wickeddevices todestroy thepoor withlyingwords, even when theneedyspeaketh right.
But theliberaldeviseth liberalthings; and by liberalthings shall he stand.
Riseup, yewomen that are atease;hear myvoice, yecarelessdaughters; giveear unto my speech.
Manydays andyears shall ye betroubled, ye carelesswomen: for thevintage shallfail, thegathering shall not come.
Tremble, ye women that are atease; betroubled, ye carelessones:strip you, and make youbare, andgird sackcloth upon your loins.
They shalllament for theteats, for thepleasantfields, for thefruitful vine.
Upon theland of mypeople shall comeupthorns andbriers; yea, upon all thehouses ofjoy in thejoyous city:
Because thepalaces shall beforsaken; themultitude of thecity shall beleft; theforts andtowers shall be fordensforever, ajoy of wildasses, apasture of flocks;
Until thespirit bepoured upon us from onhigh, and thewilderness be a fruitfulfield, and the fruitfulfield becounted for a forest.
Thenjudgment shalldwell in thewilderness, andrighteousnessremain in the fruitful field.
And thework ofrighteousness shall bepeace; and theeffect ofrighteousnessquietness andassurancefor ever.
And mypeople shalldwell in apeaceablehabitation, and insuredwellings, and inquiet resting places;
When it shallhail, comingdown on theforest; and thecity shall below in a low place.
