Ye shallmake you noidols nor gravenimage, neither rear youup a standingimage, neither shall ye setup anyimage ofstone in yourland, to bowdown unto it: for I am theLORD your God.
2 Ye shallkeep mysabbaths, andreverence mysanctuary: I am the LORD.
3 If yewalk in mystatutes, andkeep mycommandments, and do them;
4 Then I willgive yourain in dueseason, and theland shallyield herincrease, and thetrees of thefield shallyield their fruit.
5 And yourthreshing shallreach unto thevintage, and thevintage shallreach unto the sowingtime: and ye shalleat yourbread to thefull, anddwell in yourland safely.
6 And I willgivepeace in theland, and ye shall liedown, and none shall make youafraid: and I willridevilbeasts out of theland, neither shall theswordgo through your land.
7 And ye shallchase yourenemies, and they shallfallbefore you by the sword.
8 Andfive of you shallchase anhundred, and anhundred of you shall put tenthousand toflight: and yourenemies shallfallbefore you by the sword.
9 For I will haverespect unto you, and make youfruitful, andmultiply you, andestablish my covenant with you.
10 And ye shalleat oldstore, and bringforth theoldbecause of the new.
11 And I willset mytabernacleamong you: and mysoul shall not abhor you.
12 And I willwalkamong you, and willbe yourGod, and ye shallbe my people.
13 I am theLORD yourGod, which brought youforth out of theland ofEgypt, that ye should not be theirbondmen; and I havebroken thebands of youryoke, and made yougo upright.
14 But if ye will nothearken unto me, and will notdo all these commandments;
15 And if ye shalldespise mystatutes, or if yoursoulabhor myjudgments, so that ye will notdo all mycommandments, but that yebreak my covenant:
16 I also willdo this unto you; I will evenappoint over youterror,consumption, and the burningague, that shallconsume theeyes, and causesorrow ofheart: and ye shallsow yourseed invain, for yourenemies shall eat it.
17 And I willset myface against you, and ye shall beslainbefore yourenemies: they thathate you shallreign over you; and ye shallflee when none pursueth you.
18 And if ye will notyet for all thishearken unto me, then I willpunish you seventimesmore for your sins.
19 And I willbreak thepride of yourpower; and I willmake yourheaven asiron, and yourearth as brass:
20 And yourstrength shall bespent invain: for yourland shall notyield herincrease, neither shall thetrees of thelandyield their fruits.
21 And if yewalkcontrary unto me, andwill nothearken unto me; I willbring seventimesmoreplagues upon you according to your sins.
22 I will alsosendwildbeasts among you, which shall rob you of yourchildren, anddestroy yourcattle, and make you few innumber; and your highways shall be desolate.
23 And if ye will not bereformed by me by these things, but willwalk contrary unto me;
24 Then will I alsowalkcontrary unto you, and willpunish youyet seventimes for your sins.
25 And I willbring asword upon you, that shallavenge thequarrel of mycovenant: and when ye are gatheredtogetherwithin yourcities, I willsend thepestilenceamong you; and ye shall bedelivered into thehand of the enemy.
26 And when I havebroken thestaff of yourbread,tenwomen shallbake yourbread inoneoven, and they shalldeliver you yourbreadagain byweight: and ye shalleat, and not be satisfied.
27 And if ye will not for allthishearken unto me, butwalk contrary unto me;
28 Then I willwalkcontrary unto you also infury; and I,even I, willchastise you seventimes for your sins.
29 And ye shalleat theflesh of yoursons, and theflesh of yourdaughters shall ye eat.
30 And I willdestroy your highplaces, and cutdown yourimages, andcast yourcarcases upon thecarcases of youridols, and mysoul shall abhor you.
31 And I willmake yourcitieswaste, andbring yoursanctuaries untodesolation, and I will notsmell thesavour of your sweet odours.
32 And I willbring theland intodesolation: and yourenemies whichdwell therein shall be astonished at it.
33 And I willscatter you among theheathen, and will drawout aswordafter you: and yourland shall bedesolate, and yourcities waste.
34 Then shall thelandenjoy hersabbaths, aslong as it liethdesolate, and ye be in yourenemies'land; even then shall thelandrest, andenjoy her sabbaths.
35 As longas it liethdesolate it shallrest; because it did notrest in yoursabbaths, when ye dwelt upon it.
36 And upon them that areleft alive of you I willsend afaintness into theirhearts in thelands of theirenemies; and thesound of ashakenleaf shallchase them; and they shallflee, asfleeing from asword; and they shallfall when none pursueth.
37 And they shallfallone uponanother, as it werebefore asword, when nonepursueth: and ye shall have no power tostandbefore your enemies.
38 And ye shallperish among theheathen, and theland of yourenemies shall eat you up.
39 And they that areleft of you shall pineaway in theiriniquity in yourenemies'lands; and also in theiniquities of theirfathers shall they pine away with them.
40 If they shallconfess theiriniquity, and theiniquity of theirfathers, with theirtrespass ed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me;
41And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity:
42Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.
43The land also shall be left of them, and shall enjoy her sabbaths, while she lieth desolate without them: and they shall accept of the punishment of their iniquity: because, even because they despised my judgments, and because their soul abhorred my statutes.
44And yet for all that, when they be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I am the LORD their God.
45But I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, that I might be their God: I am the LORD.
46These are the statutes and judgments and laws, which the LORD made between him and the children of Israel in mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.
