Psalms
Chapter 28
KJV · Textus Receptus
[A Psalm ofDavid.] Unto thee will Icry, OLORD myrock; be notsilent to me: lest, if thou besilent to me, Ibecome like them that godown into the pit.
2Hear thevoice of mysupplications, when Icry unto thee, when I liftup myhands toward thyholy oracle.
3 Draw me notaway with thewicked, and with theworkers ofiniquity, whichspeakpeace to theirneighbours, butmischief is in their hearts.
4Give them according to theirdeeds, and according to thewickedness of theirendeavours:give them after thework of theirhands;render to them their desert.
5 Because theyregard not theworks of theLORD, nor theoperation of hishands, he shalldestroy them, and not build them up.
6Blessed be theLORD, because he hathheard thevoice of my supplications.
7 TheLORD is mystrength and myshield; myhearttrusted in him, and I amhelped: therefore myheart greatlyrejoiceth; and with mysong will I praise him.
8 TheLORD is theirstrength, and he is thesavingstrength of his anointed.
9Save thypeople, andbless thineinheritance:feed them also, and lift themup for ever.
