[To the chiefMusician uponNehiloth, APsalm ofDavid.] Giveear to mywords, OLORD,consider my meditation.
2Hearken unto thevoice of mycry, myKing, and myGod: for unto thee will I pray.
3 Myvoice shalt thouhear in themorning, OLORD; in themorning will Idirect my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
4 For thou art not aGod that hathpleasure inwickedness: neither shallevil dwell with thee.
5 Thefoolish shall notstand in thysight: thouhatest allworkers of iniquity.
6 Thou shaltdestroy them thatspeakleasing: theLORD willabhor thebloody anddeceitful man.
7 But as for me, I willcome into thyhouse in themultitude of thymercy: and in thyfear will Iworship toward thyholy temple.
8Lead me, OLORD, in thyrighteousness because of mineenemies; make thywaystraight before my face.
9 For there is nofaithfulness in theirmouth; theirinward part is verywickedness; theirthroat is anopensepulchre; theyflatter with their tongue.
10Destroy thou them, OGod; let themfall by their owncounsels; cast themout in themultitude of theirtransgressions; for they have rebelled against thee.
11 But let all those that put theirtrust in theerejoice: let themever shout forjoy, because thoudefendest them: let them also thatlove thyname be joyful in thee.
12 For thou,LORD, wiltbless therighteous; withfavour wilt thoucompass him as with a shield.
