Let myprayercomebefore thee:incline thineear unto my cry;
For mysoul isfull oftroubles: and mylife drawethnigh unto the grave.
I amcounted with them that godown into thepit: I am as aman that hath no strength:
Free among thedead, like theslain thatlie in thegrave, whom thourememberest no more: and they are cutoff from thy hand.
Thou hastlaid me in thelowestpit, indarkness, in the deeps.
Thywrath liethhard upon me, and thou hastafflicted me with all thywaves. Selah.
Thou hast putaway mineacquaintancefar from me; thou hastmade me anabomination unto them: I am shutup, and I cannot come forth.
Mineeyemourneth by reason ofaffliction:LORD, I havecalleddaily upon thee, I have stretchedout my hands unto thee.
Wilt thoushewwonders to thedead? shall thedeadarise andpraise thee? Selah.
Shall thylovingkindness bedeclared in thegrave? or thyfaithfulness in destruction?
Shall thywonders beknown in thedark? and thyrighteousness in theland of forgetfulness?
But unto thee have Icried, OLORD; and in themorning shall myprayer prevent thee.
LORD, why castest thouoff mysoul? whyhidest thou thy face from me?
I amafflicted and ready todie from myyouth up: while Isuffer thyterrors I am distracted.
Thy fiercewrath goethover me; thyterrors have cut me off.
They came roundabout medaily likewater; theycompassed me about together.
Lover andfriend hast thou putfar from me, and mineacquaintance into darkness.
