Chapter 6

And Iturned, and liftedup mineeyes, andlooked, and, behold, therecamefourchariotsout from betweentwomountains; and themountains weremountains of brass.
2 In thefirstchariot wereredhorses; and in thesecondchariotblack horses;
3 And in thethirdchariotwhitehorses; and in thefourthchariotgrisled andbay horses.
4 Then Ianswered andsaid unto theangel thattalked with me, What are these, my lord?
5 And theangelanswered andsaid unto me, These are thefourspirits of theheavens, which goforth fromstanding before theLord of all the earth.
6 Theblackhorses which are therein goforth into thenorthcountry; and thewhite goforthafter them; and thegrisled goforth toward thesouth country.
7 And thebay wentforth, andsought togo that they might walk to andfro through theearth: and hesaid, Get youhence, walk to andfro through theearth. So they walked to andfro through the earth.
8 Thencried heupon me, andspake unto me,saying,Behold, these thatgo toward thenorthcountry havequieted myspirit in thenorth country.
9 And theword of theLORD came unto me, saying,
10Take of them of thecaptivity, even ofHeldai, ofTobijah, and ofJedaiah, which arecome fromBabylon, andcome thou the sameday, andgo into thehouse ofJosiah theson of Zephaniah;
11 Thentakesilver andgold, andmakecrowns, andset them upon thehead ofJoshua theson ofJosedech, thehigh priest;
12 Andspeak unto him,saying, Thusspeaketh theLORD ofhosts,saying, Behold theman whosename is TheBRANCH; and he shall growup out of his place, and he shallbuild thetemple of the LORD:
13 Even he shallbuild thetemple of theLORD; and he shallbear theglory, and shallsit andrule upon histhrone; and he shall be apriest upon histhrone: and thecounsel ofpeace shall be between them both.
14 And thecrowns shall be toHelem, and toTobijah, and toJedaiah, and toHen theson ofZephaniah, for amemorial in thetemple of the LORD.
15 And they that are faroff shallcome andbuild in thetemple of theLORD, and ye shallknow that theLORD ofhosts hathsent me unto you. And this shall come to pass, if ye willdiligentlyobey thevoice of theLORD your God.
