Logos by Kai’Ros
Privacy Policy
Draft — pending review. Last updated 20 August 2026.
There is also a Privacy Covenant — the same promise written as a pastoral letter rather than as a policy. It is the plainer read; this page is the detailed one. Neither overrides the other.
Who we are
Logos by Kai’Ros is a Bible study platform operated by Kai’Ros International Technologies. It also hosts websites and office tools for individual churches. This policy covers both.
The two roles, and why the difference matters
When you read the Bible, keep notes or buy credits, we decide what is collected and why.
When you fill in a form on a church’s website — planning a visit, asking for prayer, writing to the office, or giving — that information belongs to that church. We hold it on their behalf and do not use it for our own purposes. If you want a church to correct or delete something you sent it, ask the church; if they ask us, we act on their instruction.
What we collect
If you make an account
- Your email address, and a name if you give one.
- A password, stored only as a hash we cannot reverse.
- Your reading and study activity within the app, so your place is kept.
- Your theme and language preferences.
If you fill in a church form
- Plan Your Visit — name, email or telephone, when you expect to come, how you heard about the church, and anything you write.
- Prayer request — your request, and your name and email unless you choose to send it anonymously. An anonymous request is stored without them.
- Contact — name, email or telephone, and your message.
Prayer requests are set to be visible to the pastor only. Nobody else in the church sees them unless the church later changes that for a request.
If you give
Card details go straight to Stripe and never reach our servers. We keep the amount, the fund, the date and Stripe’s reference so the church can account for the gift and issue a receipt.
Who processes it for us
- Supabase — the database, file storage and sign-in, hosted in the United States.
- Vercel — serves the website.
- Stripe — payments. We never see or store a card number.
- Resend — sends notification and welcome email.
- Anthropic — powers the Pastor AI assistant. What you ask it is sent to Anthropic to answer. Do not put anything in it you would not want leaving this platform.
How long it is kept
- Account data: while your account exists.
- Church form submissions and giving records: kept by the church as part of its own records, because a church needs its own history.
- Email delivery logs at Resend: as long as that service retains them.
This section is the least settled part of this draft. The platform does not yet enforce automatic deletion after a fixed period, and saying that it does would be untrue.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
- We do not use advertising or analytics trackers on church websites.
- One church cannot see another church’s people, giving or prayer requests. That separation is enforced by the database itself, not only by the screens.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for your account to be deleted. Write to pastortave@summitbiblecenter.com. For anything you sent to a particular church, ask that church.
Children
A church may keep records about children as part of its own ministry, at the direction and on the responsibility of that church. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children through this platform.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it.
